73.5 911s??
Is there such a car? I got a call today asking if I could place a value on the following car:
1973 911S Targa Factory original 2.4 S motor with CIS Car is in concourse condition with 50K original miles and "will win trophies." All #'s match. First, was there such a car? I thought the CIS conversion was for Ts. It was explained to me as a factory 2.4 version of the '74 2.7S. Second, what value would you place on the car? Sorry, no pics.

The only 1973 911 with CIS was the "1973.5 911T" as you state. The 911 E & S were both MFI.
The car could probably be one of the following: a 73 T with S badging, or a 1974 S that is being rep'd as a 1973 a 1973 S with the original engine missing / replaced. Of course it could be a lot of other things too...;-)

I'm guessing it is a 73.5 T with all S options and some wishful thinking made it an "S" over the years.
I'm getting the VIN to decode also.

It might have a shot at winning the Misrepresentation Trophy...
Ask him what trophies it has already won....
