Yeah... homemade drilling looks sharp. The car looks great, but $59K for an automatic/tip is a bit high imo.... what gets me about this are the blatent mistakes/lies in this ad. do they think they are fooling anyone?

I like

Because the previous owner was a high-profile individual he did not want the paperwork, including personal information, to follow the car.

I should run a VIN record on the car tomorrow and find out the names of the previous owners to see if they're full of cr@p...

Nothing is easier than taking a fat marker and blackening out that info, or scissors, if you are real paranoid. The new owner only cares that the vin, mileage, date and services performed are shown.

The PO of my car bought the SC at a classic car stealership and they had blackened out all personal information. Makes sense.

Wait! What are they selling? A car or a bunch BS passed down by the previous owner?

I'm a bit confused. Is it a '96, '97, or '01??? Is it a 3.5 or 3.6 Liter? Is it worth looking at?? IMHO, no!!! I don't trust people who have to state they are trustworthy.

Is Tiptronic really "Very Desirable" ????

I like the wheels. What's the official name of that style? Cup wheels...originally made by Speedline?

It's amazing that somebody wants a buyer to part with $59K and can't get the story straight.

Does anybody dumb enough to respond to this stuff have $59K?

Car was registered to Grant Hill or Tavares Williams Jr. Any idea who they might be? not on my "famous" list.

Grant Hill is a basketball player...

Looks like the guy updated the link and at least made it a 1997 and 3.6L. Maybe he saw this thread... still way overpriced though

There's a few Tavares Williams' out there. One is a college ball player for the Troy Trojans and the other, well he just got sentenced to life in prison in February for beating a 51 yr old woman to death with a baseball bat in Florida.

http://www.alligator.org/pt2/050202williams.php

Now if that isn't a reason to sell your car and seek anonymity, I don't know what is...

But again, who knows if this is him.
