yeeya ..
As much as it pains me to see Porsche lose any "club-sport" focus, and simply leverage the image of the past, it is likely the best thing for their bottom line. These behemoths will come and go . . they'll soon be on the forgotten scrap-heap, along with the 924's . .928's Yet those cool 911's, which survive in to eternity (shamless SCWDP plug) ![]() No doubt there is money to be made in selling mediocrity, as long as it cost a lot. Just look at some MB's, BMW, Jaguar . . ..the car needs to be nothing more than the image. c'chingggg.

Terrible name. The worst yet. Every time I read it I see 'panini' in my head and think of a greasy sandwich. Looks like a modern stretched 928 in that pic.

That is one bad photoshop. Autoweek should be ashamed. I dont mind the return of the 928. I look forward to the return of the real 911 a la Carrera RS 2.7

Panamera- sounds like an insurance company! As for the styling, it reminds me of a Rover SD1. Interesting to hear they are working with VW again.
