Gary, we generally meet centrally, right off the Palisades Parkway, north of NYC, but south of the 287 intersection, near exit 5. There's a big "Park and Ride" with lot of spots, bathrooms, gas station, snacks, etc. Gather around 9 am, shoot the sh#$t for an hour, then blast up north!

Bump....and I was just reminded by my wife that May 8th is Mother's Day....April 30th or May 1st? Raindate May 14th? Or should we push it to May 14th? What do your calendars look like?

Only trouble with mohonk is it's restricted to guests of the hotel, difficult to drive all the way up as they have a private road.

Brauhaus is more our speed I think, we could call ahead and tell them to expect a large number. The Gunk burger with swiss, served with sauteed onions on pumpernickel, this will make you cry.

April 29/30 are OUT for many of us, those are the dates of the Lime Rock Park Club Race, if you aren't racing, you should be working, or enjoying the action!

Late April, early May would work for me-I made it last time, but had to wait around for the Cargraphic bunch at the rest stop as they were late-and I know I was holding up some of those banzai 996Turbo guys trying to catch up-but I do need to keep my license . . .

Well Im slated to get rid of my car sometime after the 28th of this month. That gives me a month to get the new car sorted out, new tires on her (18" tires arent cheap...specially Pirelli's. I cant afford Michelins yet) and have her purring like a kitten.

No offence to the cargraphic people but they sorta were the one's that spintered the group last time, its pretty darn hard to keep up with a 996TT in a 25 year old targa!

I say a set relatively easy route with no diversions and with multiple stops so everyone stays relatively close together....I like May 1st with the Brauhaus as the ultimate destination....Will that work for the Lime Rock Racers?

What ever happened with the ticket from the fall run? It was a biggie if memory serves me correctly....

I went with a local lawyer with ties to the court. The reckless was dropped, and the 108MPH got knocked down to 84MPH, which is just under the magic 30MPH over where the fines and insurance hits really get serious. Still an expensive affair w/ lawyer and fees but my license and insurance are intact. If I hang mid-pack this year you guys will understand, right?

Drove the wife (in her expedition) in the full snow/ice storm to the hospital in full labor....baby was born 90 minutes later!
