Motor surprises
Here are some things I found upon engine removal
   Is there supposed to be a plug or fitting on the end of those wires? And can the motor mount be repaired, or should it be replaced?

Tig weld it and it will find.

those wire ends go into a 14 pin plastic socket - a 2 piece assembly
search on 14 pin engine connector - I hope you didn't pay much for this...
