Separating torsion bar from spring plate tip
I searched the board and used the old "drill a 1/4 hole in the cap" of the torsion bar cap and then punched the torsion bar out of the spring plate--damn that worked slick. Now I gotta fill the hole! Any tips? I imagine a hardware store would have some type of plastic or rubber tip to fit.
Kudos to the board--one side of my rear suspension is completely apart and the other side comes apart tomorrow night (in 1/2 the time I hope!) |
