101 project book
Has anyone used the 101 projects for your Porsche book ?
Cant find a list of exactly what it covers (table of contents) I thought I might add it to my parts order, but not sure if I could make much use of it. I already have the Bently manual. Thanks again.........KC

A definite must have.
I don't think there's anyone who has it who has not used it for something, or a lot of things. There are threads on here where people document how many of the applications they have actually used. There is a list of the topics covered here on Pelican. Check out the catalog. Here's one link. http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/MISC/POR_MISC_BESTSL_pg7.htm For specific tasks, you'll use it more than your Bentley. Jim

Buy it!
If you don't use it for anything else, the color photos are a great reference resource. The subject matter is quite precies also. Definitely money well spent. Randy

Like the title says. It has projects you'll do in it. From simple things like draining oil to more complex tasks like "shifting improvements"
Worth the price of admission even if you only use it for 1 project. |

Its a definite addition to your library, The Bently manual covers most things, but the 101 projects has sometimes a little more info or even a little different perspective than Bently and is very helpful and informative.
I highly recommend it.

I find the more in depth descriptions and pictures in Wayne's book have helped me, a novice mechanic, a lot. I use Wayne's book, the Bently manual, and this forum too. Since I really don't know what I'm doing, the more information the better. The Bently book can be pretty terse in its instructions at times. This might be fine for someone who has worked on cars a lot, but for the rest of us a little more info can be helpful. If you look at amazon.com they have the first few pages of the book online, including the table of contents.
