Wow! Very nice. I'm not a big cab fan, but I'd take that one.

I'm looking at this post again and going, "Wait, I think I might have sold that car new!" Is the original owner's manual in it? Is it stamped from Westwood Porsche or Beverly Hills Porsche? I definitely ordered that exact car back in '87 for a certain TV writer/producer that has gone on to much bigger things. Small world if it is, can't be too many of that exact car in CA.

She needs smog, DMV inspection, and insurance; otherwise a'driving I would be!
Speeder,
The car had two PO's; originated in Illinois, and purchased from a Michigan owner.

Awsome color combo, I have the same in my 85TL Coupe

Take this sugestion as a plus, if you want it to look even more original, remove the fake turbo badge and switch your exhaust tip back to the original single tip. Fuch's 7"s and 9"s would be a plus too.

Congrats, nice to see another black 911 on the roads of Cali.

Wow - I got to check my eyes and re-read discriptions, maybe I got a bit excited to see another M491 on Cali roads.

Yes, mine is black. Looking very black today too since I removed all the tint (makes for better contrast, crisp clear windows on a black car)

I know...I dont care for the Turbo emblem, but the car came that way.
All the Carrera emblems are stick on's, and I didnt want to leave the two small mount holes. Find me a Carrera emblem that mounts through the holes, and I'll take it.
Wheels came with the car (Cup 7.5 & 9 x 17). The muffler that came with it, appears to be a turbo muffler (removed). It now has a Fabspeed SS, 1 in 2 out.
P.S. My car is Marine Blue Metallic, not black. On an overcast day it looks black.

Yep, I am aware of the issues you point out; as I was just stating facts as to the cars' condition upon receipt.
Yes, I am sure its attached with fasteners...I already removed it to clean up the backgound.
I could always drill slightly larger, to clean out the though holes, fill with lead, prep the surrounding area, prime, and paint, but I dont care to get that anal about the car.
