Paint check list
 

This is a long shot. But does anyone have a check list of ALL body seals, weather stripping, gaskets and so on to replace when the car is disassembled for paint. I mean every bit of rubber and plastic. Im getting ready to order and want to be sure I get everything I need, or may need in one shot. The car is a 1984 911 Carrera. Thanks

You can get the latest parts catalog published by Porsche that has exploded diagrams of the various regions around the car body with part numbers or get a set of microfiche and a surplus reader. I had my car 82SC completely painted a couple of years ago where I replaced everything that would not clean up nicely and was obviously deformed. The wide rubber strips around the bumpers are pretty expensive as are the rear bumper blocks if you can get them. If money were no object, replace everything. Beware, some reproduction parts will not fit as nicely as factory.
