I am wanting to put in a set of early 90's RS America seats into my 911sc and wondering if anyone has done this or have some knowledge on them.
Will they sit higher than my stock seats (my head is close to the headliner with stock seats)? They are powered, will it be possible to wire them so I can use the power units? Will the RS seat sliders bolt into the location of the stock SC location? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Glen

I can only speak to the mounting locations.....your model year(s) for the SC and the later 911 and 964 used...I'm quite sure...the same 16" width spacing of the seat perches.....very different than the wider spacing of the (say) early 70's cars.....
Can't help on the rest..... Wil

Wil,
Thank you for the info. on the mounting locations, I appreciate it. Now I feel good on one of the areas ![]() Anyone else know info on if it's possible/what's involved to hook up the power switches for the RS America Seats to work and will they mount taller than my stock SC seats (because head room is very limited already). They look similiar to my stock sport seats, but with the RS America seats being a powered unit, I would guess they would sit a little higher so to have the room underneath for the power units. If anyone knows please let me know. Thanks.
