3.2 EFI Manifold on a 3.0
From what I have read it looks like the 3.2 intake manifold will bolt up to a 79 3.0. Is it necessary to Port match? Can I use this injection system with a Megaquirt Computer? Will the megasquirt work fine with the Turbo Charger I am installing? This just seems like a easier route to add EFI to a 3.0.

Dont have to port match, especially if your going to be "pressurized"
the 3.2 manifold is a popular way to convert to EFI, We have done a number of cars this way.. but use Haltechs You will need a 3 bar MAP sensor to use with the Megasquirt

Measure the 3.2 port openings...they vary from 39-42 from the factory. Now measure the port entrance on your heads. See the difference? I would at least match them that is a large difference. Throttle response will be better as well. Tim...have you considered using Accel units?

No need for a 3.2 manifold. You can use your existing CIS manifold and still get EFI. Details here:

Tony,
I have a cast aluminum airbox and working CIS. I would rather sell that and start with a 3.2 manifold. Then I could use a megasquirt with o2 sensor.
