Very good explanation of what the beads do...but you should also know that RF has nodes or harmonics that can be annoying.
The equipment in question radiates noise of various frequencies back into the power supply and is picked up by other equipment and ampified. This process can be very difficult to find and the best solution is to "bead" everything. The beads should be as close to the "bad" equipment as possible so that the wire cannot act as an antennae. Larger beads can be applied to the altenator or generator to keep the overall noise to a minimum. Ain't technology great? LOL Bob |
