Need quick help: front lid badge placement
 

I am standing in the garage with my aluminum RS lid, on which the holes have been welded shut, and a badge Sticker from our own John Colasante. Of course the other cars are not here for comparison.

Can someone be so kind and measure the distance from the lower lid edge and the pointy lower end of the badge? in millimeters?

Yes, it is. I forgot to mention, the car is my 1976 Carrera 3.o, so the measure is on any lid, 1974-1992

Sorry to have kept you waiting (busy easter weekend) but here you go, for the standard metal decal on my 1978sc, in mm, from the bottom,

to the decal 8,95 mm
to the plastic underneath the decal 8,8 mm
length of the decal exclusive plastic underlay 6,9 mm
lenght of the decal inclusive plastic underlay 7,05 mm
