Possible Pelican sighting on Bear Creek Rd. Orinda, CA

I was driving down Bear Creek road in Orinda today at about 4:00 to 5:00 PM and I saw a '78-'89 Red 911 Targa. The driver waved to me. I was driving the red 911 cabriolet.
Was this anyone here on the board?

Not me, I was the one on Bear Creek Road in Orinda driving the Venetian Blue '88 Coupe. And I missed both of you!

Too bad that I missed you, Zonas. The driver that I saw was coming down that large bend (the first "open" bend in that road (about 1/2 mile from the turn off from Camino Pablo). I might be driving in the Oakland Hills area tomorrow if it doesn't rain, so I might be lucky enough to spot a Pelican.

That was me! I was out exploring the area (moved here in December '04). Sounds like we have similar cars (see my sig). I was psyched to see another 911 on my drive. Perhaps we can get together for a drive.

Jon,
That is cool that I saw you. My dad and I were making a homemade video, and we got your 911 as you were coming down the hill, but my dad shut off the camera right before you waved. It would be great if we could get together for a drive someday. I have the whole week off, and I might be going somewhere with my family. Maybe sometime over the next weekend if the weather permits? I'm not quite 16 yet, so I can bring my Dad along since I have my learner's permit.
