What Magazines do Vintage Racers Read?

Looking for some input on what magazines are being read by Porsche Vintage Racing Enthusiasts.

If I was going to place a Porsche ad in the top 4 magazines for Vintage Racing, what 4 would those be?

Thanks for the help.

Thanks Juan.

THose were the 4 I was thinking of. I also thought Vintage Rcecar Journal might be good as well.

I am not selling the car. I just have a buddy that is going to advertise some of his aftermarket parts for Vintage Racing.

PS. I will have some more video of our latest race to post shortly.

I forgot the Journal, those should cover (I'd say) 90% of the vintage racers that read magazines!

Look forward to the video. I'm testing the car tomorrow after a veeeery long wait (3 or so years)

I would think the SCCA rag as well. I know it's not necessarily vintage, but there're a lot of adverisers in there. All kinds of racers read that. Contrary to what you might think, it's not a bad idea to be in with a ton of other ads. Ever notice the car dealers all clump together in every town and city?

Mark,

Test went very well. Car worked flawlessly and the mechanic was superb. The car came out much nicer than what I expected. The elcetrical, fire and fuel systems are beautifully executed, clean is an understatement.

It rides very well, plenty of power on tap and the handling is great. On the weight department we came in quite alright also; we are over the minimum allowed but not by much !

Plenty more to do but for now its a matter of seat time and minor adjustments. Only major detail is that I must revise my choice of gears for 5th and perhaps 4th as I'm running out of revs.

Could do any photos as I left the camera on and had no battery left.

More to come !!!

Vintage racing.....what's the deal on 914s? The first models were built in 69 and they were in a 1.7/4 and 2.0/6 flavor.... are they "vintage" eligible?

I have a 70 914/6 conversion that has a build date of 9/69.....

Yes they are.

Cars up to 1972 qualify for "Vintage" Racing. Bring it on out to the track.
