Pictures of Euro Pre-Mufflers please:

Can someone from Europe, preferably, post a picture of the factory pre-muffler that came on a ROW Carrera? I am getting confused by all of the different looks that these things seem to have in catalogues, etc...

I do not need the photo from the Pelican web site of the replacement unit sold here, I want to see an OEM Porsche one either on or off of the car. Thanks.

Look at the Dansk muffler site...the "illustrations" are quite close to what it looks like.

If you run one on a US-spec car... be prepared ( like I did) to have a 18mm x 1.5 mm threaded bung added to accommodate your O2 sensor.

These pics are borrowed but the same as mine.

This one is what my old standard pre-silencer looked like. (now sitting in my garage)

This one is what I have now. Sports pre-silencer.

Wil is right. there is no oxygen port on my original pre-silencer.

Thanks, Will, but wouldn't the ROW pre-muff on a 3.2 have the O2 sensor already?

Speeder....short answer... "No"...

Euro ( non-cat) DME's do not run O2 sensors...used to control A/F ratios on cat equipped cars.....

Denis and I are trying to figure out the difference as between (1) ROW non cat premuffler, (2) the Dansk "Euro premuffler", and (3) the Fabspeed unit. The Fabspeed and Dansk are pictured below. Not sure which way to go on this one ... Does anyone have experience with any of these units, or advice on the best set-up to match with a Steve Wong chip on an 89 Carrera?

Here's the pics, Fabspeed unit on top (ignore the Dansk mufflers, couldn't cut them out). Thanks for sharing any experience you have had, Steve
