My 911 Video

Here is a film that I made of my 1976 911 w/ 3.0 Turbo Look Cabriolet. My dad filmed it and I drove the car. This took place mostly on Bear Creek Rd. in Orinda, CA, and on Camino Pablo in Orinda, CA.

I want to thank Mr. Phil Garner (Pelican name: layzee) for hosting this video up on his website.
This is a large video, so the buffering will take a few minutes.

Also on this drive, I spotted Jon (Pelican name: JP911). You can see him driving the red Targa at about when the video reaches 3 minutes and 39 seconds.

Here is the video link: http://philgarner.net/86911.wmv

Thanks!

Thanks Tim and Rick,

Actually no hitchhiker girls, but on that same day my dad and I went to Best Buy in the 911. I went ahead and parked, and stood outside the 911 so that my dad could spot me. Then there comes a hot college girl asking me about my car, and we get to have a small conversation !

JTKKZ, Phil Garner hosted the clip on his server. Matt has provided a link to Phil's site.

jtkkz,
In order to post a video you need to host it on a website first. I tried free hosting sites, but my video was too big. Mr. Garner then helped me out, and I sent him the video so that he could put it on his site, and afterwards Mr. Garner sent me the link to my video.

I hope this helps!

Good thing i got 1000Gb of transfer a month to use, you guys are like vultures

I looked at the stats on the video I made last week and it is had over 600 downloads just from being posted on here!

Enough with the Mr Garner already, I am not old enough for that.

jtkkz - how big is your video? I can pm you ftp details if you can use it.

Is that the same Phil Garner who used to play SS for the Pirates and later coached the Tigers? Didnt know that he was a 911 guy...

Great looking car, nice job on the update.

BTW... "Turning Japanese" is a nice song...but maybe a more appropriate one would be something like "99 Luft Balloons" or "Der Kommissar". Same era actually... but more central to stuttgart jk

Sonic,
I have 99 Red Ballons in my Media Player. I am now beating myself over the head for not using it. I added the music at near 11:00 PM, so I was kind of tired when I did this. I got "Turning Japanese" from the movie "Ninja of Beverly Hills" with Chris Farley. The song was playing in the scene with the irritated guy in the 964 when Farley did not let him pass.

I seem to only hear the sound, but no video, I must be doing something wrong.

On my computer, the first link has a 404 error, and the second video has a lot of green, and a very short glimpse of your 911.

It is a very short clip cause I was just testing a video camera phone.

So it worked? I can not seem to see the video, but can only hear the sound.

It looks like you're driving in a sea of green goo when I watch the clip.

Neither clip works for me. I get a new window open asking me for the program I want to use to view the file.
