Fuchs Wheel Data base
 

I've done a bit of research, but haven't found solid answers yet on info about the various Fuchs wheels.

I'm curious to know if anyone has compiled or begun to compile a spread sheet or data base on the various Fuchs wheel sizes including offsets and the cars they originally came on, were optional on, and more importantly, the cars they will fit without modification.:confused:

BTW, nothing is absolute in the good old days. I bought a .04 wheel recently but it was a 6, not a 5.5.

Thanks a bunch, Chris, for pointiung me in the right direction.

Bill Verburg's Wheel Fitment Chart is indeed a treasure trove of information. His Brake Information Page is equally informative as well.

I'm considering a move to 16 inch wheels because better high performance rubber is available in that size than in 15's, in a much larger selection. That, and the fact that I have four 225/50-16 Yokohama AVS Sport tires just sitting here from a previous use on a BMW (it's gone to 17's now) with 70%+ of the tread left. That would keep the rear shod for a bit.

FYI- That chart is wrong on the 16x7 Fuch wheel weights. I weighed a 16x7 on a digital scale and it was 14 pounds and some small change...... Not 18 pounds as listed in the chart. That makes me wonder about some of the other stuff.
The chart is only as good as all the people reporting to it.

There is a lot of room for error in most any measurement. Weight seems to be particulary vulnerable in this regard.

That is why I have tried to take the approach of incorporating numerous measuremnts from as many sources as possible.

:cool: I see that Wheel Enhancement now has 16's in widths up to 9 inches, pretty pricey according to another thread.:)
