Question East coast guys - what's it worth

I am looking for a late model SC (81-83). What is a clean vehicle of this age worth on the East Coast? Let's say 100,000 miles or so with mainly standard equipment.

Thanks in advance,

Flytyer

Have someone give you a rundown from Excellence when they had those year out. Don't have that issue at hand.

Just as a 'local' data point FYI: A year or so ago, another member of this board (Tim) & I performed a pre-inspection on an '83 Targa (with slightly less than 100K) and in overall good condition. After the PPI was performed, and everything checked out, I believe the deal was closed for somewhere in the 12-13K range.

It's a tough market out there for sellers. I sold my RoW '78 911 SC last year for approx. $12.5K. This was your basic bone-stock SC in excellent condition, low miles(approx 80K). It had 7x16 and 8x16 wheels, but needed to be shod soon. I'd say you have a very good chance of finding the SC of your dreams if you're patient and willing to go a few extra miles to find it.My buyer came from the New Jersey area to the Boston area with a trailer and hauled it back.

Wow - maybe I am off - Seems like the nicer ones have been going for higher than that in Florida - Maybe just the ones that I have seen.

I'd love a 78SC Row for a track car...
