Installing O2 Bung

I need to install an O2 bung on an older Euro Premuffler. Any tips? Can I just take it to a muffler shop and have them weld one in? ..or can I just drill a hole and weld a bolt of the same diameter as the O2 sensor?

Thanks

You mean a nut?

Don't O2 sensors use a sparkplug thread; is this a common nut size?

SSI sold me an O2 bung. I don't know who else sells them. It is spark plug thread.

Any auto supply should sell them. Jeg's, summit, etc. They are less than $10 and get welded in. Check a local exhaust shop. they will probably have them as well and could easily install it.
