Question on heat backdate
Backdating the heating system on an 82SC. I installed the left hand air socket and now I don't have sufficient clearance for the distributor cap to sit properly on the distributor. Looks like another 1/4 - 3/8" inch is needed. Thanks.

Walt, That piece of tin needs to be 'tuned up' with a hammer or some other body shop weapon. I think the turbo version is the only one that proper fits without the hammer tweeking.
