Need Spark Plug Tool
Anyone in MA. have the tool I can borrow?
Like to read and change out the plugs on my 87. I have no idea how old they are. Or some tips and tricks on how to with out tool would be appreciated. Thanks |
Just getcha a plug tool at sears with the flex head and a 3" extension. That should do it.

i just got done useing the sears plug socket and 3 inch extension. I put rubber protectant on the rubber insert so the plug would come out easier and I had to wire the socket to the extension when I put the plugs back in.

Got the flex socket, 3" ext. and stubby rachet. 20.00. Pulled the plugs, it had Beru all clean looking very good, so I cleaned them up and reinstalled. #6 was abit dark the others were grey. Comparing to plug chart I would say pretty normal.
Thanks for the help. So I have some NGK on the shelf. |
