Door Seal Bulb - Against Frame or Not?

I am replacing the door seals on my Targa and the seal bulb is slightly offset. So the seal can be installed with the bulb pressing against the frame or the opposite way with it slightly inward and not against the frame.

Which is the correct way to install it?

Bulb is the round part that goes against the door.

Porsche Pilot:
Not sure about your description. Bulb - is that the cylindrical portion of the seal that goes around the frame channel and forms the contact seal against the door? Offset? Pressing against what frame? Maybe you can post a picture.

It is the round portion of the seal that presses against the door when it is closed. There is the base of the seal that gets glued into the channel and the round part, which is on angle from the base. So depending which way you mount the round part can be against the frame of the door opening or slight way from the frame.
