bellypan a/c install

Just purchased the Peformance Air belly pan condensor for my 930. it seems to be very well constructed and i want to install it this week. I'm wondering what time frame I'm looking at to install the unit plus the two hoses that came with it.... two to three hours??? Thanks for any guidance you can give me.

Contact (PM) Jack Olsen or Tyson Schmidt. Jack has the car it was installed on, but Tyson did the work.
Good luck -

If you have a helper you should be able to mount the condensor in an hour or so,that's how long it took me and my son.If the hoses are the correct ones figure another 2 hours or so.These times do not include jacking up the car and putting on jack stands.

Took me longer working alone- about 6 hours. Take your time and make sure you have it as far forward as it will go so the skid plates (protectors) will fit properly. Also make sure you have the necessary ground clearance- I think it is about 4 1/2 inches. It is very well built and a quality addition.

thanks for your input. After the unit arrived i read in the directions that i need to use a block of wood to pund down a hump in the floor board to get the unit to fit.. Although i want cooler air, i'm returning the unit to Performance Air rather than beat up my car. maybe that is why there is so much interest in fitting condensers in the wheel wells! In my discussions, i found out that the maker of the procooler is planning to market a belly pan condenser later this year.

The unit I installed was made by Sahar Industries and fit perfect with no pounding of anything.

They must have changed it. I didn't have to do any body mods.

Are you anywhere near Battery Lane?
