'99 or 2000 996- To the Peanut Gallery!
I can commit to either a '99 996 Ocean Blue/Savannah Beige with 15K miles and an extended warranty to 75K/2009 (aftermarket warranty), basic options at $37,000 or a 2000 996 Metallic Black/grey with 63,000, original owner, fully documented history, highly optioned, through reputable broker for $35,500. Both cars are Tiptronic (for the wife of course).
There seems to be a $5k differential between '99 and 2000 right off the bat. Should I even think about the 2000? Is there any significant repair history between '99 and 2000. They both seem reliable according to my research. What does the peanut gallery think.

I like the black one or the 2000 one. It just looks better. The blue with the beige kind of makes me sick. You should be able to get a better deal on the 2000 because of the higher mileage. What kind of options, navigation in either of them and are you going to use the options??
