sportomatic shifting problems

Well Im back again with some more questions on my 68 911L sporto. I just wanted to say thanks to all the guys that helped me out with the electrical problem I had before. I have been working on the car non stop and havent had time to get out a thank you. So the car is all together and ready to go but I cant get the thing into gear. The gears just grind. So after taking the tranny back out and going over some things I noticed that the servo has a minor leak. I ordered a used one off of ebay and was wondering if I should be checking/changing anything else (clutch plate, throw bearing, pressure plate, etc). I also noticed how incredibly hard it was to get that rod to move that the servo moves. Is something locked up? or does that servo have a lot of ass to it? If i missed something I should be asking, please fill me in. I really appreciate it guys.

Chris

I need to run but that servo does have some force to it. The adjustment of that arm is also very critical to the operation. The system will not work with any leaks so make sure your new servo is sealed up. Shops that do work on air brakes I have heard may rebuild the servo unit as well. I'll check back on this thread later and keep the faith in the Sporto sysytem.

Yeah, all the lines are changed and I ordered one off of ebay that "does not have any leaks and holds pressure". Is there any reason I would need to get a new clutch kit or no? Im trying to get this all figured out and back into the car by next tuesday? is that possible? what else should I be checking/changing? thanks
