Airbox Pop Valve delete? BAE turbo on SC

Any of you BAE type turbo kit guys know what needs to be done in regards to the previously installed airbox pop off valve when going with a BAE type turbo kit?

I am guessing that it needs to be eliminated (or maybe a stronger spring?), but what happens if you backfire? Don't you run the risk of blowing your airbox? Does the turbine impeller impede a backfire enough to eliminate the risk? Blowoff valve come into play?

I had to seal my pop off valve with epoxy to keep it closed.
I have not had a problem with back-firing, I suppose there is always that chance. A back-fire would have to travel a long way and go through the turbo to get to the air box. I'd bet an air box explosion is less likely with a turbo than with normal CIS.

That is kinda what I was guessing.
