Sunroof cable job - replace seals as well?
About to replace both of the cables on my sunroof, but before I start - I was wondering if anyone had advice about other things I should replace while I am in there?
The felt is in relatively good condition and has not leaked in the past, so I wasn't planning on replacing it - should I, and is a pain to do later. Prior to the cable breaking the sunroof ran perfectly. Thanks! |

I would just check the other components like the guide pieces. I just changed both cables on my 83SC last month and renewed the felt seals. If yours look ok, I wouldn't bother.
