Name this wire...
 

I have a wire that I am not certain of its connection point. I have a C3 engine...

I have a Bosch CD box...are there one or two single wires that plug into the box (other than the three plug wire harness).

The wire is red with black stripes....

The only 'other' cables attaching to the CDI are braided ground straps ... could be one or two that attach to the doubled Faston 'D' connector bolted directly to the CDI mag case ... above the 3-pin connector.

That is a switched power cable you posted ... unrelated to the CDI system!

I couldn't find anything that resembled this wire in the elc diagram...what do you think it is to?

Rear window defogger ... there should be a mating connector attached to a heavy wire of the same Red/Black color coming down from the left side of the deck area, up high, coming out from under the window rubber seal.

Really? I was looking at my wire diagram in all the wrong areas, I assumed it had something to do with the ignition...
