Wheel Refinishing -- Reed v. Wiedmann
Wiedmann is closer to me - I could drive the wheels down.
Does anybody know 1. if one or the other does higher quality work? 2. Or if one or the other has a much shorter waiting list? 3. Or if one or the other is much less expensive? (I've already seen all the posts re "xxx rocks" so there is no need to repeat such non-specific praise here, OK?) Thanks

Had wheels done by both, Reed does great work, quicker turnaround and is a little cheaper... Widmans cost a liitle more, takes longer but does excellent (concourse) type work. If you call and talk to Harvey Weidman he has a very impressive resume' and is probably the most knowledgeable person when it comes to Fuchs. Do a search their is a lot of info on some of the rare cars he has been associated with. All that being said, you can't go wrong with either guy. MY .02c

Randy-
If you want to se my Reed wheels come on by. I've met Weidman, and wouldn't hesitate to send futre work to him. Reed's "standard" finish is, according to Weidman, not quite original. I'm very, very pleased with the work Al did, but I'd love to send a pair of my deep 6's to Harvey for the 7" R treatment.
