It is my understanding that the throttle stop is recalibrated every time the car is started...am I correct...TIA

Hi ,
I dont know about recalibration .. but here is a micro switch that a bracket off the throtle plate hits and makes the microswitch contact when the throttle is at rest.Just make sure to adjust it so that it does close the microswitch when you let off throttle .. or you will have a 'hunting idle' condition on the motor .... Yes the stop hits the switch...but this car will not idle when warm..... Have good vacuum.... Good fuel pressure.... Switched DME's.... Everything my searches have indicated........ It's running to rich, exactly like a CIS car that needs an A/F adjustment........ edit The car will idle all day when started warm, but will not return to idle after acceleration........just dies......
