Engine-wise are there any particular problems to look out for or years to avoid?

Premature valve guide wear on the earlier 3.2's (say '84-'86 maybe) can make it sound like it needs a valve adjustment but it really has worn valve guides and has a top end rebuild looming, any 3.2 or 3.0 should have the head studs checked, cylinder head temp sensors should be updated to the 3 wire design...
