LMAO!!

Thanks a lot Eric

Actually I am just futzing around the shop trying to think of a good reason to go over and look at the car again. (I really should be working) I did get my wheels in from Al Reed (oh my GOD!) and mounted with Victoracers yesterday. But they don't want the new wheels in the paint booth or the car right now.

Color was going to go on last week. But all Mark and the crew at Eurotech have been doing is sanding. Since the bill is paid I am not going to tell them to stop sanding!!!

Although the wait is killing me!

Taking the other car over next week to run the hill climb a few dozen times to ease my pain I think you should fly out and go over with me Eric. Be some fun!!

Al Reed's handiwork work, pictures don't do it justice.

Did I mention rubber? 225 and 265s. That makes it about 9" on the pavement in front and 10" in the back with 8s and 9s.

Are the 265's mounted on a custom Fuchs? Or 9-inch?

The 265's are nice to run because of the extra width but you will notice a bit of a gear reduction from the height.

My car is pretty dang low and there is one turn under hard compression that I hear the tire touch for a brief second.

I will still run the 265's though because the benifit outweighs the gear reduction.

Great wheels by the way!!!!!

Good point Slider.

SO3 245/45/16 is 24.6" and barely 9" on the ground.

VR 265/45/16 is 25.3" and a little over 10" on the ground.

VRs are a little over 1# per tire heavier as well.

Good tire choice for your intended track/street use. It was between the Victo and Toyo RA/1 as my final 2 choices.
Picked the RA/1 for the hell of it.
FWIW, the 245/45/16 Toyos are WIDE mothers - 10.5 inches in the rear, more actual width than the A032rs I now have on...and are worn out.

BTW, I stopped by Eurotech for some other biz.....Dane, your engine is missing!

It's gonna be a special car, congratulations -
