Hunting for parts …needing a guide book

New owner of a 72 911T project car looking to turn it into a RS or RSR road racer.
On Ebay, most parts for sale list the Porsche Mfg. Number.
Question: Is there a definitive book or web site where one can look up the Mfg number to verify the part in question ?

There is a 911 parts guide, that has exploded diagrams and parts numbers for almost all years of 911. I forget its exact title but they show up on eBay from time to time. I got mine there. I don't think it shows racing e.g. RSR parts though.
