just finished my 1st autocross
Well I just got back home from my 1st ever autocross and all I can say is what a blast! My 83SC did just fine although more modern machinery was faster but thats O.K.,out of 15 cars I was 7th fastest and I improved almost every run. I can see how this is addictive and can't wait for the next one.

Glad you had fun. Autocrosses are a great way to learn the limits of your car without the risk that the large tracks bring.
Don't rule the old SC out....we just had our first event and the top time was posted by a 78sc. Now, the car is totally sorted and the motor has 964 cams etc but its still a full interior street drivable SC. It beat a GT3

In an autocross, the driver is 90%
Car is about 10% |
