removing wiring harness from tunnel?

All I have to do is remove the wiring harness from the tunnel and my car will be completely stripped. How do I do this without destroying the connectors and wires? I've been meditating for months to build up my patience and I have 3 cases of beer in the garage refridgerator.

Any tricks?

On my 86, disconnect everything up front, then pull out the back. This sounds a lot easier than it was.

Used to live in Oakland County many years ago, on Nine Mile.

LIKE TIM SAYS AND LOTS OF PATIENCE. TOOK ONE OFF A 71' . DON'T SWEAT IT IT WILL COME OUT IN ONE PIECE.

So the consensus is to pull it out the back? Glad I checked first because I had thoughts of trying the opposite direction.
