Relocate DME?
I'm looking for headroom in my SC/3.6 conversion and plan on lowering the seat rails. To gain the maximum amount of room I thought about moving the dme to the rear foot well. I dont want to make any wiring changes, but it looks like there is enough slack in the wires.
Anyone BTDT? Bad idea? Thanks Chris |

Looked at that a few weeks ago on my 3.2. The big bundle goes through the seat rail so will have to cut it. Wires in the bundle go to the front and the back of the car so will have to cut and splice wires together. Looked like a big pain in the a$$ so its current location now looks like just the right place :-) If you come up with a clean and easy way of moving it please post it. I thought having all the works mounted where the back seats were would be convenient.
