Banned but not out, yet..

Which ingenious minds have relocated their trombone (or loop) oil cooler to the cutout area formerly used the air conditioning cooler/evaporator in the front pan? It seems like air flow would be much better, but it would need to be protected against impact. Any pics? Any BTDT or advice against?
TIA

I think you mean "condenser"....the evaporator takes out heat from the cabin..and is located in the smugglers box.....

I don't believe it would receive that much air in that slot, that's the main reason why the condenser has a fan/blower on top of it. You can find the blower inside the trunk between the spare tire and the bulkhead

The air inlet.... however.... is facing the front ( of the tub) but is blocked by the front bumper. A solution like Craig O'Brien's (where he placed the oil cooler behind the front bumper that has many holes drilled on its front face)...might then work.
