Looking for Muffler suggestins.
1972 2.4 MFI, 2 in 1 out. Currenlty runining the 3 glass pack
version. It's too loud for the street, but just right for the track. I'm looking for someting quieter to drive to the office on nice days. Suggestions??? |

From what I've heard, aftermarket mufflers on a MFI car can really
make it tempermental at various RPM's.

Use a stock muffler. Your MFI will thank you.

A sport muffler will tend to make the MFI run lean in the mid-range.

I once had a 911E 72' with a stock muffler that had two tubes put in like a sport muffler but the stock exit was still there. was that a homemade job or is that how they came, sounded awesome and ran great....if a person wanted to do something like this for themself is there any tricks to keep in mind??
