Thumbs down Wow (ebay car)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4542240966&category=10156

This guy is either high or he doesn't have any idea WTF he's talking about. Probably both. My favorite part:

SINCE THE 911 CARRERA SLANT NOSE WERE ONLY OFFERED IN ONE FORM, WITH THE NORMALLY ASPIRATED SIX, OPPOSED TO THE HIGH, MAINTENANCE OF THE TURBO AND PLEASE NOTICE THAT THE ENGINE HAS NOT BEEN STEAMED AND DETAILED IT IS JUST THE WAY IT WAS TIMELY MAINTAINED

I cannot believe there are 12 morons, one dumber than the other, who have bid on it. Unbelievable.

Whats up with those seats, I've never seen anything like them. It looks like someone sewed some pillows on a sport seat, they are really ugly.

Ok, so the seats look ... wrong! And the verbage is reaching a bit when he suggests that this car with the Turbo Body only came with a NA motor (one of the last BTW!). Well duh! If it came with a Turbo in the Turbo Body I guess it would be a Turbo then, right? As far as slant noses go I think it looks pretty good.

I really like how they mounted the battery right under the carpeting. Almost ensures a fire should any sparks get thrown up.

Yeah, I noticed that. I wonder why they didn't just use the "smuggler's box" like everyone else? Or does the Carrera have something in there?

That is a very strange ad. And the seats even stranger still.

My 87 Carrera has stuff (AC plumbing, I think) in the smugglers box and a battery will not fit in there, but I agree with Steve, above, that the current placement is dangerous.

I pity the poor sap who actually buys that car.
