930 4 speed tranny price check?
What is a reasonable price one might expect to pay for a 930 4 speed? Fully operational, has l/s/d and would include shifter, linkage and axles and tach. Thanks, John.

930 Box
Depends on year and condition.
The 76/77, since they are 1 inch shorter, are very popular with the 914-V8 crowd ... I just bought a 77 with LSD in super condition for $1,700. When I finish modifying it for a V8 application, it will be worth around $5K - if I were going to sell it which I am NOT. Also have a 79 that I paid $1K for years ago but, when it came time to use it, it required about $1.5K in parts. Like I said, depends on year and condition ... although they are becoming more and more difficult to find !!! Good luck ... make sure you do a chart of the gearing to make sure it matches the engine ... individual gears go for around $700-800 !!!

This is attached and used with a complete 930 Euro 3.3 turbo engine. He wanted 3600 for the tranny, axles, speedo and I thought that seemed way to excessive.
