New member needs help!
Hello all!
I'm a new 911 owner living in Virginia Beach. After 20 years of waiting, I purchased my first Porsche. It’s a 1987 and had 66K when I bought it. I’ve put 2K on it since last June and I need some help with finding a reputable person/shop for repairs. It had the 60k service done at 54K, but not much (other than oil changes) since then. I know it needs a tune-up and I need some help! Any ideas?

If your a DIYer order Waynes book 101 P-car projects and the Bentley manual. Both available from our host. Can't help you with a shop. Nice car by the way!

Great looking car. I ditto what jorian just said, the one person who can best take care of it is you, study this forum, ask questions - none is too trivial, great group who will respond with the right info - usually quickly- welcome aboard, you are now officially P-car infected.

Chode, check this out: www.dorkiphus.com (join us)
lots of *local* info there... although you're quite a ways from the NoVa/DC area, ask in the tech section and there's bound to be someone to help you, and you may even find few people in your area
