New member needs help!

Hello all!

I'm a new 911 owner living in Virginia Beach. After 20 years of waiting, I purchased my first Porsche. It’s a 1987 and had 66K when I bought it. I’ve put 2K on it since last June and I need some help with finding a reputable person/shop for repairs. It had the 60k service done at 54K, but not much (other than oil changes) since then. I know it needs a tune-up and I need some help!
Any ideas?

If your a DIYer order Waynes book 101 P-car projects and the Bentley manual. Both available from our host. Can't help you with a shop. Nice car by the way!

Great looking car. I ditto what jorian just said, the one person who can best take care of it is you, study this forum, ask questions - none is too trivial, great group who will respond with the right info - usually quickly- welcome aboard, you are now officially P-car infected.

Garage
Chode, check this out: www.dorkiphus.com (join us)

lots of *local* info there... although you're quite a ways from the NoVa/DC area, ask in the tech section and there's bound to be someone to help you, and you may even find few people in your area

Oh, if you don't drive her she will give you troubles. They love to be driven not allowed to sit.
