Wink ooo la la...those narrow bodies

How many other Pelicanutions out there also think that the LWB, narrow bodied 911 (& 912), 1969 thru 1977, is one of the best looking Porsches ever built.

I don't mean to 'dis' the Carrera/Super Carrera/RS(& clones by the score)....I just like my Porsches (& women) to have narrow bodies. Turbos never look quite comfortable in their 900 series bodies....they sort of remind me of our Calif. Governor on the steroids he never used.......

Very true - as was said decades ago, the wide bodies make the cars look like "Bavarian washer-women."

And ... the correct term isn't "narrow" -- it's "svelte."

There is nothing sweeter than a narrow bodied 911 with 7Rs wrapped in 225s. Sexy sleeper defined.

first P car was a 75 911S targa - 25 yrs ago
now after having 2 - 356's, I have a 73 911 targa (rust bucket)
prefer the lines of the long noses - MFI power - 69E 2.0 engine, plenty fast enough for me, although a 2.4 would be nice....
current car is lowered, absolutely zero roll in the corners, good fun

LOL! Have you ever thought of compiling a book of these quotes? You seem to have some good ones.

Back on topic: narrow bodies are very sweet. I used to have one, and truly like the look of my car now. But there is something nice about an understated non-flared 911 - especially when it whips a turbo-bodied 911's hiney.

That's more like a "stripped, lightened narrow" compared to 959

350 - The bottom woman is svelte - the wide-body is not shown in that photo. ... and I assure you there is no need to post one...

"LOL! Have you ever thought of compiling a book of these quotes?"
- Thanks, dd. No book but I have a collection and periodically rotate my sig. to give them each an airing. The current one is:

I wish my body was as attractive as my car's body...

Now, I don't mind a woman that has curves, nice hips and a nice bottom...

But I do like my 911 on the skinny side.
