Just bought 996 seats 30 mins ago
US is not always cheapest!!
After restoring a 911 for many years I always look for certain parts in US (best deal). Today was different. I am a Swede, working in Italy (Director Marketing - Brand Saab General Motors Italy). So today I found a pair of 996 Sport seats in mint condition at the web. Called the guy and realised that he was located 5 mins. from our office in Rome. He asked 1000euros and I said that he could get 850euros cash ($1000) and he agreed after a few minutes. So US is not always the best source for everything (never been for bulkier parts), still for us European owners rubbertrim and smaller parts are always cheaper if one try to ship a few parts at the time. Thought I had to share this good deal (I saw his 996 - not stolen) The ones I bought are the same as on this pic (posted by someone else at this forum) 996 sport seat. Lucky swede in Italy

They will fit for sure. Just some work with a new frame that will be welded. I have a MY72 (wider seats).

Good looking seats. It always makes me more comfortable when I can see and touch something before I hand over the cash. Show us pics when they are installed please.
