First year for Basalt Black metallic???

Does anyone know what year this was first out??

I think up to through 964 the color was Schwartz Black Metallic , the color of my long-lost beloved SC.. You could go to paintscratch.com and check out the model years.

First year for black metallic (708) was 1979, according to Morgan's Original Porsche, though could find no reference in any year for "Basalt" Black Metallic.

708 is Schwartz Black Metallic. I am almost positive Basalt showed up in either the 993 or 996 model.
