88 Cab 3.2 First run of season OIL PROB?

I took my car out of storage this weekend and took it out for a 50 mile run to clean out the cobwebs. Upon returning to the garage I smelled a slight burnt oil smell. I lifted the decklid and found a few small drops of oil pooling at the top of this thing. I am not mechanically inclined and the nearest wrench is about 50 miles from my house. Is the car safe to drive to the garage? Im concerned the tube appears to be rubber and should it burst while im driving I see a major disaster pending. Any advice would be welcome. Is it as easy as tightening the bolt at the top of the canister? THANKS IN ADVANCE! See attached photo.

The picture shows your fuel filter. Are you sure that it has oil on it? Anywhere else?

Oil is just on the top and sides.

There is a small amount of oil pooling at the rim edge of the silver canister. The canister is at the top left (drivers side) of the engine compartment.

That doesn't make sense. As Imcarthur mentions that canicter is your fuel filter. Could the filter be leaking gas and the debris/gunk laying on top of the filter mixing with the gas to look like oil? Have you sniffed it? If gas then tighten the nut on top and make sure you use 2 wrenches, 1 on the bottom nut attached to the top of the canister and another on the nut attached to the fuel line so you don't just twist without tightening.
If not gas then maybe a leak from the top of the engine some where like the oil pressure switch and it's squirting in that direction. Curious what you find!
