911R for sale (no, not the ugly Gulf one w/black wheels)

http://www.blackhawkcollection.com/index.cfm?key=908&action=details&tab=inventory

I wonder how much it'll take to bring this one home.

I think I saw the same one in Excellence a while back for around the $150k mark. I could be way off though.

really? Can't be.....$150K only buys you an RS these days

I would tend to think somewhere in the mid-300s, but I have no idea what the market on these cars is.

The "R" McKoy

That one's always for sale. First time I say it advertised, 5 or 6 years ago in PANO, they asked 250K for it.

It came up again last summer in Monterey.

From people who've seen it up close, it needs a LOT of work, but it's still a real R and I'd pick it up if I was in the market.

I'd rather have the 904 or the speedster on their site....

Yes, but what it looks like and what it is are two completely different things. That's like saying a 934 just looks like any other turbo with a fancy front valance so you wouldn't want one.

Very good question, it seems that it's been for sale for years. I've always admired it's stance and patina, but there must be some serious issues that aren't apparent in the pictures. Maybe the patina runs a little too deep.
