Question about headstuds

Hello,
I'm looking into buying a 75 911. The seller says the headstuds have been upgraded (timeserts?). Is there a way to confirm this on a visual PPI? Also, according to him 930 hydraulic tensioners have been put in; are these the same as "Carrera tensioners"?
Thanks

You can't visually see if the timeserts have been installed. Whomever does the PPI needs to look and see if any studs are broken or have loose nuts which would indicate the studs are pulling. And yes the 930 tensioners are the upgrade.

Thanks Kurt. Let's suppose the timeserts were not done. Is it an expensive job to do this?
Thanks again

Yes you would have to pull the heads and cylinders to do it.
