Wheels for the ultimate backdate, check it out
These are on Ebay
Assuming the description is correct they are set up for a 964 Turbo. So Get a 90-94 c2, then RSR front and rear fenders, duck (of course). back date front and rear bumpers (requires some fabricating). and wah lah. Modern car, ac, 3.6 Hi comp. twin plug Multi port FI engine.... looks like an RSR. Then we start attending the church of light weight but that can wait. Seems like there was something like this in Excellence but I think they started with a 3.2 carrera so the Fuchs were easy. The catch on the late cars (I think) for the fuchs is the modern wheel offsets, the custom Fuchs just wont look right ...say on an RS body. But with Turbo wide wheels you get some dish so they look fine. Some body has to have done this. Damn I need to make more money !! :-)) |
Looks like those wheels are for a 965; would those fit on a pre-89 non-turbo 911 with turbo flares?
|
We would have to ask him the back space, I think it would be way to large and you would have to put new inner rim halves on.
|
I think he means carrera turbo, the off set is way to high for a 964, Kevin
|
Did they even make a 964 C4 turbo? I believe they made a Turbo look. Your right Kevin they look way to deep for 964 wheels. The Chrome sucks IMHO but I would jsut paint them :-)) Wonder what they will go for. I bet they dont get the usual premium because the add is so screwy.

Do you really want "THE RIMS ARE CHROME FINISHED NOT POLISHED"?

Here was his reply to the back space question. I guess my question was not clear??? Or maybe a language barrier...
You asked: "COuld you measure the back space on these wheels? Thats the bolt face on the back to the rear rim lip. Thanks" They are about an inch to inch .Thanks |
