I am planning to do the Dragon this summer when wife and kids are in Europe... Obviously there will be no contest... but it would be fun.

By then my car should be finished :(

I did a post on it back in the middle of Dec. It was a poll on what engine you would use.
Here's the thread. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=197059&highlight=what+e ngine+to+use+in+rsr
We have been working on it for about a year, a little at a time.
But its now close and it makes me want to getter done!
I think it will be the most fun of all the 911's we've done!

Fantastic!! Great job!!

Wayne 962 04-26-2005 07:42 PM

Are there multiple lips on those wheels?

-Wayne

Jack Olsen 04-26-2005 09:44 PM

Those are the Lindsey Racing wheels. They use barrels that come up enough in the middle to meet the 6x16 Fuchs centers. (I think they're Corvette barrels.)

They only have one step. Its a optical illusion due to the polished section on the center. I had Mike make them that way, because I was trying to make that 17" wheel look smaller in dia., and it makes them look like there really DEEP.
I really like the way they came out.
